Our Products

Products may be delivered in bud to ensure longer life. Some products may be harmful or poisonous - please contact us if you require further information before submitting an order.
All products are subject to availability. In the event of any supply difficulties, we reserve the right to substitute a product of equivalent value and quality without notice.
In the event we are unable to supply the product or any substitute product to you at all we will notify you as soon as possible and will refund your payment in full and in any event no later than 30 days after the intended delivery date.

Prices

Prices listed on our website are valid for at least 14 days. Prices for flowers and gifts include VAT for deliveries within the UK, Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.

Seasonal Pricing

Our prices are dictated by many factors. For example, at periods of maximum demand, eg. Christmas, Valentines, Mothers Day, the price can increase considerably and this should be borne in mind. There are also events all around the World, which will increase the demand for flowers therefore pushing up the price in this country. Weather also dictates the price. Orders and Payment

When completing you order you will be asked to provide us with your complete personal details, including accurate postcode, together with those of the recipient and all necessary payment details.
As soon as we receive your submitted order we will send an e-mail to confirming your order details and advise you that your order is being processed.
Orders cannot be accepted from customers under the age of 18 years.

Payment Security

Coates Florist use PayPal Secure Payment System for all credit and debit card transactions. When you pay for your order using a credit or debit card your card details - card number, three digit security code and password - are kept secure within the PayPal system and are not revealed to us. The PayPal payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security of all sensitive data. This ensures that no third parties can impersonate PayPal to obtain secure information. The transfer of the less sensitive transaction details from the our website to PayPal is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof. Any communication between the customer and PayPal is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment by their card issuer. All data stored on PayPal systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. PayPal are regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards The system does check that the name and address provided by the customer matches the details registered to the card. Please use the name and address of the card holder for orders. You will be able to specify a different delivery address if required.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of Non Perishable Goods

We abide by the new Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, where an order for non-perishable items may be cancelled within 8 working days of you receiving the goods.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, cancellation rights can only be claimed if the goods are returned in the same condition in which they arrived with the recipient.
You the customer must pay the cost of returning the goods. The cost of the goods will be refunded within 30 days. A deduction may be made from any refund to cover the direct cost of collecting the goods when they have not been returned, as requested, by the customer.

Cancellation of Perishable Goods

Orders may be amended or cancelled up to 24 hours before intended delivery date for the UK, Republic of Ireland and Channel Islands. To amend or cancel overseas orders 3 days notice is required.
You are entitled to cancel any payment at any time when fraudulent use has been made with you credit/debit card.

Complaints

We aim to ensure that you are 100% satisfied. If you are dissatisfied in any way with your purchase, please contact us immediately. We endeavour to settle any complaint within 24 hours, however if a third party is involved eg. Interflora, it may take a little longer.
